My Museum-Quality Reproduction of Thomas Edison's Light Bath
MY REPRODUCTION THOMAS EDISON LIGHT BATH CABINET.
I built and sold two of these museum-quality reproductions of Thomas Edison's Light Bath Cabinet.  See my original antique light bath next image.  I had the tops, top doors, and floors cut by a company with computer controlled machines according to my blueprints.  sprayed it with a HVLP sprayer in a spray booth.

MY ANTIQUE LIGHT BATH CABINET AFTER I RESTORED IT.

Dr. John Harvey Kellogg of Kellogg Cereal Fame invented these soon after his friend Thomas Edison perfected the incandescent electric light bulb. This is the same model that Thomas Edison owned, and is still at Edison's Fort Myers Estate.  These were popular all over the world.  The king of England cured himself of a distressing case of gout by a series of light bath treatments.  In 1916 these were referred to as "one of the most effective of all known healing agents."  Users today, have called it "The Rolls Royce of Saunas".  We still use one of these antiques in our home.  There has never been a sauna that has surpassed these original Light Baths for effectiveness and beauty.    I restored two of these.  See the "before" images further on down.

The Light Bath is made up of two parts.  This is my Edison reproduction Light Bath

Light Bath interiors were lined with mirrors all the way around, producing the infinity affect.  It used 50 Edison incandescent bulbs, including two on the floor.   This is my reproduction Light Bath

This and the next two images are of my original antique Light Bath before I restored it. I owned two of them and restored them both.

The Light Bath was severely water-damaged
